Jake Cornelson is a goalkeeper playing a year up at the highest level in Southern California. He recently moved from Seattle where he played competitive soccer since age 9. In Seattle, he was recruited and played for the ODP and RTC programs.  He was a captian in first division PDL soccer with the Northwest Nationals. The Northwest Nationals took first place in the premiere division.

Jake recently moved to Carlsbad and joined Carlsbad Elite. Jake will be graduating in spring of 2014 from La Costa Canyon High School. He is looking to play competitive soccer at a Division I or Division II college. He has achieved a GPA of 3.5 in high school while balancing sports, academics, and his musical interests.

Jake’s athleticism, quick feet, strong hands, and his understanding for positioning have allowed him to excel as a goalkeeper. He thrives under pressure and is a leader on and off the field. Jake has a strong passion for the game and the position.
